GT3255A Inlet Bell

Should I use the stock inlet bell with this turbo? If not, what are my options?

Do you have the turbo now? And if so, did it not come with a new billet aluminum inlet bell? It should have come with a new billet aluminum inlet bell like a TA-49 does. If not, I'd recommend you call PTE and see if they will sell you one. The stocker has way too much neck down and would have to be majorly ported to even think about being close. I would run a billet one.

I ordered the turbo from cottons. It came in today and it was the GT3255E instead of the GT3255A. So i am going to have to get that straightened out. It did not come with an inlet bell so I was trying to figure out what I needed to get.

The E cover has the inlet bell molded into the compressor cover. No inlet bell required. Makes me wonder if PTE has ever produce a GT3255A or not.
I know I never sold one. Just the GT3255E.
