Well I went out to the 1st Annual Great Lakes Firebird Gathering this weekend in Dundee, MI. There were a total of 2 TTAs including me at the show out of the 110+ Firebirds who were registered for the show. I was in 3rd Gen Lightly Modified and the other TTA was in 3rd Gen stock. Of course we swept the show and both got 1st in our classes. I met a lot of interesting people includding some guys who worked on the assembly of the TTA and might be bringing a TTA out to be sold with less than 5k miles on it and only one owner. I pointed several people interested in the TTA to this board and a couple of people who owned TTAs and wanted to find things and learn more. Overall it was a great show and featured a lot of very rare TAs, including I think the end count was 10 Super Dutys. Anyways on to the pictures:

It literally had all the part number tags on everything including the fuel lines. The owner had to have done some serious research. I have never seen a car of this quality for a stock muscle car restoration.

The car had to have been recently finished because there wasn't even a spot of dust. I believe it was also pushed everywhere and no longer driven even to its parking spot at the show.

http://home.comcast.net/~FIRE72BIRD/GLFG5.jpg - These are my pride and joys. I have spend probably close to 8 hours on getting my wheels to shine and stay shiny. I think I did a write up in my detailing thread on how to do it. If not, and someone wants to see how, I have pictures on how I did it. I got compliments from many people on them.

Oh and I had heard that Pontiac Enthusiast had a photographer at the show and later heard he was wearing a yellow shirt on Saturday. He took about pictures of my car for about 15 minutes and covered almost all aspects of it from interior to exterior. So hopefully if the show gets some coverage my car will be included in the magazine.
Hopefully for the next few gatherings some of you other TTA guys will come out. I'll be at Norwalk for the Pontiac Nationals on the weekend of August 6th at Norwalk Dragstrip (I heard numbers of like 600 show cars 400 race or something along those lines) and then I'll also be at the Trans Am Nationals which I believe is the weekend of August 26th at the Dayton Airport Hotel (typically close to 700 cars). If anyone is interested in going to either of those shows let me know and I can try to help get you some information on them. I have been to the TA Nats several times and it's always a lot of fun.
