I was steered that way early on but I decided to work with my hands. I work mostly on machine tool controls but I'm considered "multi-craft".
The last time I went to a dealership was for my '03 Tacoma. Have never returned since my warranty ran out. They "fixed" my bellows on the steering rack with a glob of rtv. Neat huh? I didn't find that until I was rotating the tires and noticed some slop. Inner tie rod was crap, got wet.
