girdle install

ive never really found a write up on a girdle install. this thred will probably take me a couple days to finish. i have no prior experience doing this so if anybody sees anything im doing wrong please feel free to step in.

i started with machining the main caps

Dan at DLS told me he always trues up the oil pan surface on the block first. Then takes a measurement for cap height. This eliminates the need for shims. You can build in a little press by leaving the caps a few thousands heavy. Also trueing up that surface helps seal it real good.
