I have a 3.90 gear in my car right now and want to go back to a 3.42 and just wanted to make sure this was the correct part number for my rear end.

That's the correct part number. It's a good move to switch from the 3.90s to the 3.42s. You won't regret it.

Thanks for the response. From what I have read here I definately think that I will benefit from the 3.42 over the 3.90!
