Does anyone know where I can get some information on these turbos ?
I have one from a mid 90's F350 powerstroke and I want to find out how to either adapt the compressor side on to my stock one or just put the whole thing on. This turbo is in excellant shape. I went to garretts web site but it was pretty bleak as far as finding any specs.
The compressor side has an A/R of .70 and the turbine side is .82.
It has a sweet elbow w/wastegate flap (designed like ours SHOULD have been.) I can get a buddy to make me a killer 3" dp. Would this be overkill for my set up? I was thinking that I could run lower boost until I get some bigger injectors. Any help, opinions or general comments would be appreciated.
Also it has 4 bolts to mount on to the header. My dad says that they make adapter plates to mount different bolt patterns on. (he works in the trucking industy as chief mechanic), but he didn't know if I could get one for my car.
