fuel filter?

Hey guys, dumb question here, but where is the fuel filter located in my car? Ive checked around the front of the rear drivers side tire (where i thought it was) and cant find it. Thx

No question is dumb. The fuel filter is a canister type on the front on the engine. You will seel the fuel lines going in from the bottom and out the top. Brad

Thx! I got it removed, now for the new one to be installed, should the arrow point towards the ground or the engine?

Thanks for the help guys. I swapped out the fuel filter so hopefully that helps my car run better. Ive owned the car for 11 years now and lost interest in it for a long time, during which is sat in the garage and wasnt really taken care of. I dont think ive ever changed the fuel filter, which would explain why the old one had soo much rusty, dirty looking crud/ fuel coming out of it! Thanks again
