At approx. $100 a month for combined storage and insurance, the seller would have to sell for 41,000 just to break even - excluding the time value of money. It's certainly a beautiful car.

If the car was financed new it would have to sell for even more to get your money back out of it. 99.9 percent of all cars are bad investments. "Lots" of people mothballed these cars when new so the very very low mile cars aren't extremely rare. It's going to be a long time still before those cars could have been looked at as decent "investments"
