Forges External balanced crank?

In a word, NO.

Your answer is correct Charlie in that no one is currently making an external forged Buick V-6 crank, but Eagle did make 2 batches of them a few years ago. :)

We purchased the last batch, so I do know Eagle has NO cranks left for a V-6 Buick.

Would be interesting if the vendor listed in this post actually has one, or any, for sale.

My bad - should have read the ad in the link, it states the Eagle crank listed is for internal balance.

LOL I've been looking for one Nick and haven't found one in 3 years. If I do I'll post it for sure. I prefer an internal balanced one but I don't have the cash for the extra parts like the balancer ect.

Does anyone make a forged 4340 stock stroke crank for external balance?

The fact of the matter is that any crankshaft can be made external balance.
It requires that the internal counterweight be lightened enough to allow
for the excess weight of the balancer and flywheel. Though not an advantage
because if it's done in a manner that is not a hack job it probably would
negate any cost savings and the excess weight swinging outside the engine
is not helpful with crankshaft flex.

Yep. I just bought an eagle/scat/whatever (they ALL come from the same forge. if they're u.s. made, they're over 1200 dollars EASY) and my builder asked me what I wanted; internal or external balancing. So I'm guessing any crank can be both?
