I got a 87 mustang hatch that is a horror story and a half.
The wiring to the original 2.3 is shot and was going to gut it out and go with a carbed 302, but I have been thinking on dropping in my 3.8 s2 and doing the turbo thing with it. I have just order head studs and a few other odds and ends for it and I will be pretty much starting with a gutted out car from my dad's hayfield.
A guy that lives by me says the car dont need much wiring in it for the headlights and such so Im thinking with him saying this I can just get a wiring harness and pcm and run it inside the car and leave it alone. Please correct here if wrong cause Im in over my head!
Im just wondering if I can use the f-body accesorys and maybe even a set of the turbomanifolds on this to make the swap easier on me?
Also the motor mounts come into play here too...
