I have a pair of ported stage 2 heads for sale. 2.08/1.65 Titanium valves and retainers. Springs set up for 650 lift cam. Includes Jesel rockers and plain black valve covers. Intake ports are 1.3"x 2.3". Unsure if they are ready to go or not, so they're priced accordingly at $700 plus shipping. Rocker system alone is worth that. Thanks!

Will these work on a standard 109 block till a stage 2 was ready? The whole stage thing is confusing sorry its its a dumb question but am interested in the heads

The answer is technically YES they will bolt on. You would only be using 8 bolts per head sort of like installing Champion 14 bolt heads or TA heads on a stock block. The Stage II head has a different port layout so you will need a different cam, intake and headers. Most Stage II heads have large intake and exhaust valves so it may be necessary to notch the top of the cylinders when using a block with a 3.800" bore.

The 2.02, 1.6 valve will work on a 3.8 bore, the 2.08, 1.625 combo won't, and I the big valves will have no benefit on the 3.8 bore either.
