Ok, I have been driving and watching the center of my dash shake, rattle and roll(well, maybe not roll, but you get the idea) when I hit bumps etc. When I went to the Vintage Air swap , I think a support bracket was removed and the shaking was a little worse. I have decided to fix it and wow what a difference!!!
I thought i would share my experience. I pulled out the center console and fabbed a bracket that attached to the bottom of the center metal support and went to the tunnel. It unbolts and can be removed when needed and does not interfere with anything. The bottom has a flat piece that I drilled and tapped and then welded to the tunnel. Powder coat and reinstall and done. Huge difference... This thing is now solid...
