Fireing Order?

What is it on an 87 3.8 turbo? I think it might be 165432 but i could be wrong.

Ok cool. I have heard of even fire engines which supposally is what the turbo 3.8 is then i hear of odd fire engines like the older buick V6s (225). What is the difference between the two? Fireing order?

The firing order is the same.

The difference between odd & even fire lies in the crankshaft configuration.

The first versions of the V6 were derived from the V8. Both rods on each journal shared a common journal like the V8. With this setup, the pistons are fired at the following intervals: 90°-150°-90°-150°-90°-150°.

In 1977, the 231 went to the even fire configuration. This is achieved by splitting the rod journals on the crankshaft such that the firing intervals are at: 120°-120°-120°-120°-120°-120°; hence 'even-fire'. :)

Oh i see, cool. Now do the odd fire sixs sound different than the even fire sixs?
