Finally in paint after 1.5 years. Just got the doors, hood & trunk lid back on the car to start the buffing process. Car is much slicker than my 10 old kodak shows...... Painted it with all glass out of the car.

Looks like a lot of work. Looks sweet.
Tks Brett...

Yep was a lot of work. I got several weeks labor invested in just removing all the old factory seam sealer & appling new. Every panel and piece was painted apart. Also bumpers were stripped of chrome and colored matched

Yet to be installed is a fresh 4.1 sitting on a stand & a new Jax's leather interior kit

few more of the process & my helper.

Wow!!!

Its going to be worth every effort! Keep the pics coming. What color on the interior? Original white WO2 car? Were the bumpers stripped w/electrolysis or ground-n-scuffed etc? Target date for everything together coming next?

Thanks for the pics! Very inspirational!

Thanks Bob,
Yes is an original White WO2 car.
Grey interior & getting a total overhaul from Jax's Seats (carpet, door panels, leather seats, headliner & visors)
The bumpers were stripped with electrolysis (Tri-City Plating, in TN) then sanded, epoxied & painted

Target Date for completion - Turbobuick.com Nationals March 5th, 2010   I hope...

The painting process was sort of bitter/Sweat...The sweat...car had it's original paint an never had been painted on, now for the bitter...It's a heck of a job to strip the factory (checking) lacquer & sealing it back up.

looks great.. what did you coat the interior with

Thanks for the encouragment guys...

Interior (floor pans) were in great shape but they got coated with POR-15 just because I like it.

Ot windows were installed to night. I plan to update pics once all trim & glass is back in car.

Then will be jumping on the interior

I hope I dont offend anyone :p, but that car is WHITE!!. What color is it? Definatly a sharp looking color. Should look good in the sun.

Weekend's work...

Update...Got the fillers fitted, tail lights in, and the rear bumper on. Still have to adjust the trunk lid

WOW! Great job you are doing everything I am planning to do to my 85 regal. If everything comes out good it will look just like your car just with a 6.0 instead. Good Luck finishing the car.

Looking good Scott!

I'm very interested to see how the JAX leather interior works out. We have been drooling over the pictures on the JAX website.
