file type help...

i downloaded the newest version of winamp finally and it has all these new features that i really dont want to use.. i just want it to play music, not to play videos...

anyways out of this list which are the 'sound' files?

I used to use Winamp back in the day but I would suggest that you dump it and just use Windows Media Player 9.0 I think it's MUCH better than Winamp anyways... Try it.
 
On my Apple G-4 I burn music CD's in AIFF format, as opposed to MP-3.
