Felpro 1200 intake gaskets

Included with the Felpro 1200 intake gasket set, is an "O ring". Can someone tell me what the O ring is for ?

Believe it's for the cam sensor

Or distributor. if you were doing an intake manifold with a big ol dizzy you would probably remove it to get to the intake better. Now with our little cam sensors it is not an issue. I just add the O-ring to my hook on the pegboard above the workbench, along with the extra water pump and plenum gaskets.

Of course, why didn't I think of that ???

I put it on my pegboard anyway as my distributor has an o ring on the shaft.
