I'm not really so sure as to how I should begin this post, every time I even think about this it puts my stomach in a knot. so here goes

My uncle, Jay Alban, has owned his gunmetal gray 86 t-type since 1988, and it has always been his baby, and my dream car since I was a small child. He recently fell on some hard times, and we offered our home to him as a result. We were under the impression that he was suffering from clinical depression, and it turned out instead that he had a drug problem. A little over a month ago, he fell off the face of the earth, I was the last person to see him and I keep beating myself up over that, as well as my family and I not recognizing the signs of his addiction.

I know that some may write him off as a drug addict (the police certainly have), and in the beginning I did also, but the more I think back on things, the more I realize this isn't fair to him. He was a wonderful uncle for most of my life, I got my love of cars from him i'm sure, and I remember many a day that we went fishing, or worked on cars together. He wasn't always this way, and I'd do anything to get my old uncle Jay back.

Jay dissapeared on Friday Feb 8th around 4pm in the Harford County area of Maryland. He was driving his T-type. The last sighting of him and/or the car occured on Monday Feb 11th at a local Gas station. The Police in the area have been notified and a missing persons report has been filed, but nothing has been done by law enforcement on his account. No cell phone calls have been made from his phone, nor have any been received by it.

The T-type wasn't in the best shape mechanically, it had sort of fallen by the wayside as a result of his problem, so I doubt it made it very far away from Maryland without needing repairs of some sort, It had an electrical issue that I was unable to sort that caused it not to start on occasion.

What I would ask of my (and his) fellow enthusiasts is to keep a look out for the car. Whether on the road, for sale, in pieces, in junkyards, etc.... As well as a lookout for my uncle (who isn't hard to spot)

A description of my uncle is as follows
6ft tall
brown hair
possible mustache
a bit overweight, probably about 240lbs
He has a deformed right arm, it's shorter than his left, and not very functional, it's a result of an injury at work, but he calls it a birth defect
here is his picture

As for the car.
1986 T-type
Gunmetal grey (maybe a bit lighter depending on your interpretation)
Maryland tag # is 530 ATG
Vin# is as follows... 1G4GK4777GP443505

ANY help you could give would be much appreciated!

any pics of the car?

I'm in northern harford co. and will keep a look out. I saw what I thought was a gn last weekend that looked really rough. It could have been a t-type but a picture would help. It was kind of a gray color but it might have been a faded gn. There was also a primer gray regal but it was not the turbo-T wrecked up around delta,pa. Like I said, pictures of the car would be a big help. Hope you find him and/or the car. Good luck, Tim
