Favor to ask...

I have a favor to ask. If someone could please take a mechanic's stethoscope or something and listen to the top of the cam sensor with engine warm and please describe the sound that you hear while reving from approximately 1500-2500 rpm. I am beginning to think my cam sensor is worn and that may be causing my knocking. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

dude, just take it out and inspect the gear teeth. It takes all of 2 minutes.

If you take it out make sure your endplay is between .007 and .011
