Extreme Knock Retard

I have a 87 gn t&d roller set up comp roller cam gt70q bb v1 65lb injectors car ran great, with the dayco 2600 converter and 20 lbs of boost on race gas no knock retard good 02s, went to a vigilante lock up 4500 stall on the trans brake and now has got up to 19.9 deg knock on 15lbs of boost on race gas? at same time i chaged converter i also went to 3.5 maf and translator.02is normal but car runs horrible.

I had an issue like that and it turned out to be the converter. Tightened it up and the knock was gone. Same boost and timing.
Since you just changed it having no knock before I'd suspect that.
