I have the Hooker exhaust system with aero chamber mufflers. This system has a built in cutout.
I ran electric cutouts on the Cuda back in the day and the car was a tenth quicker with full exhaust.
I did a search and read few threads on this subject. Some guys said they were picking up a lot of boost by using the cutout. My take was the more restrictive their exhaust was the more boost they picked up using the cutout.
I also seen a few guy's pick up some ET and MPH using it as well.
I'm going to the track this fall for the first time with the GN and just wondered how many guys use a cut out and what your take on it is.
