ECU for trans and engine control

Looking at putting a late model Hemi with 5 speed automatic into my next project now that the Buick is gone. Can a Big Stuff or XFI control an electronic trans and a dual plug v-8? I'd hate to have to go with an AEM system, and am not sure even it can control a trans. The dual plug setup on these motors is really just a waste spark system with both plugs in the same cylinder. Kind of weird, but at least there is not any tricky timing/dual phasing to deal with.

The XFI would need a seperate transmission controller (like the TCI unit). The BS has internal trans control for certain applications (I don't see yours).
The cost should be similar whichever route you go.
