They are probably the closest in appearance but Goodyear is not a very good tire IMO.There is an old saying that Goodyear means good for about a year.

Well I have a set and they're not all that bad...It's just that they won't handle all the power a GN makes if you drive it hard...other than that, they're ok for normal everyday driving.

Had a set of GT2's about 2 cars ago and they were OK for the most part, but made thecar awfully squirelly on wet roads. Yokohama and Firestone "500" series tires are better tires and at a better price
