I just bought a driveshaft loop. I've done a search and can't find an answer here or on gntttype. Can someone give me specific and detailed instructions on how to remove and reinstall the driveshaft - No instruction is too simple. I read once somehwere if you don't reinstall a driveshaft propertly, something can get thrown off balance.

Thanks in advance,
Sam

Pull the 4 bolts out of the u-clamps holding the drive shaft u-joint to the rear. Pull the driveshaft towards the tranny so it falls out of the rear yoke, and then slide the driveshaft towards the rear and it will fall out of the tranny.

You don't really even need to remove the driveshaft, just remove the 2 U-clamps as mentioned above, 4 bolts total, and drop the rear part of the driveshaft, slip the loop onto the driveshaft, reinstall the 4 bolts on the 2 u-clamps and your done, about a 5 minute job to get the loop around the driveshaft.
