Bring your beasts to the Dr. George...the sixth annual family fun-in-the-sun charity car show at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden (east of Palm Springs) - on the grass. 9a.m. - 3p.m.
Spend a beautiful day and see cars from 800 to 1,000 enthusiasts who will be showing and shining all categories of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. This is one of the best shows in California because of the quality and variety of vehicles shown.
Food, vendors, raffle, music, and trophies. Special guest will be legendary custom car designer, Sam Foose (Chip's Dad).
$1 suggested donation; $5 parking; $30 to show a car (drive in after 6:30 a.m.). Sorry, no dogs (four-legged variety).
All proceeds benefit the Desert Cancer Foundation (non-profit) which helps provide money for people who cannot afford cancer treatments.
