I restored the rubber conduit for my doors and man did they come out clean. I soaked them in some citric acid and cleaned with soap and water. I let them dry and this is how they came out, like new. I didn't even use armor all or any kind of crap after.

Citric acid ?

Yes I used a 5 gallon bucket mixed some powder form citric acid and water. We use this to clean certain pumps at work. It works great on rusty metal cleans it really good to the point your rinsing the rust away with a garden hose.

Here's a a/c box heat shield that I partially submerged because it didn't fit in pail with other parts. You where the water line was, this was over nite.

That's true.......and I bought a grapefruit yesterday at the store....thank God, no license required.:bucktooth:
