Does this run decent for a stock GN?

I've owned several TR's, but never a stock one. A guy brought me one that had been sitting for years to get running for him. Took a lot of work and ended up doing RA93 chip, walbro pump, adjustable regulator, K&N on it for mods. He brought it to the local 1/8 mile track yesterday with pump gas, 14-15 psi and some sticky tires. The best they netted was a 9.10 @ 80 MPH. They weren't leaving with any boost.

So, I drove and left with 8 psi, the car went a 1.83 60ft and went 8.61 @ 81 MPH. I told him I thought it should run great with some race gas and some more boost. Hoping for low 8's. Sound about right to you guys?

The quarter mile time would be in the mid 13s at about 100. Should be about right for what he has.

That is in line with a stock car with a K&N.

Low 8's should be easy with a couple more lbs of boost and race chip (throw in a couple gallons of race gas for safety)

with Traction, race gas, race chip, 20 psi Boost and a good exhaust, they should run 7.7 - 7.9 @ 85-87 mph before you need more turbo/injector, etc..
