Does this look bad?

Hey guys just in the midst of replacing my motor I suspect bearings are finished after the motor was removed and TC taken off I noticted this on the input shaft is this bad? the trans was still working before the motor busted.. ..... Looks like a piece is missing and if so how much to replace it??

That trans has been ran with an older non lock converter that required cutting off the end of the input shaft. If your using a non lock converter it will be fine.

Could be the photo or my eyes but check to see that your stator support splines are not compromised while you have your trans out.

Splines look ok there just a little bit of wear on a cple of them... I was running Non LU converter Thanks for the Replies guys I appreciate the help...... Saves me time and money taking the darn thing out and driving down to trans shop
