Does anyone own a GS *and* GN? Fuel Sending Unit Question

I have a '69 Big Block. I have converted to FI, and would like to use an in-tank pump.

Can I just use a GN setup complete with sending unit & fuel pump, and drop it into my tank? Will it fit, or am I gonna have to make a custom unit?

I used to own a GS and have had the fuel tank off and with a little modifying you should be able to do it. The openings on the tank are the same and if anything the GS tank is a little deeper so you will probaly have 2 or 3 gallons when the stock GN sender is sucking fumes. Eric Fisher

I gather that I might have to extend the pump a bit further down into the tank, that's fine.
