Craigslist has a lot of jobs listed- there are also local news papers and employment agencies.
there are jobs out there for anyone that wants one. they might not be ideal, but they are out there..

Truth be known, I think we are losing more jobs then we are creating, case in point from a friend in the DC area

wife is an international tax manager for an american energy company. she just found out here staff will be laid off and the jobs are going to india. She will keep her jo to review the overseas work...so the worker bees get cut and only leaves mangement jobs.....wave of the future...used to be only manufacuring jobs, but technology these days makes it easy for businesses to do this in every position it seems

Sh*t happens. You lose one job and find another one. The days are gone when you worked for the same company your whole career. I lost my job last July and got a better one within 2 weeks. Sometimes change is good.
