Do 200-4Rs really weigh 97 lbs.?

i have no specs but i definatly think its more than 97 #s, even without the torque convertor and no fluid. But who knows, maybe it is

after a quick search i read 125, but im not sure if that includes the torque convertor or not.

I shipped one out to PTS without the TQ and it was close to 175#s in a stout crate so I would estimate between 150 & 125 for the trannie only.

This is what Ive been told from a reputable 200-4R builder. He was referring to one with no converter and no fluid. I just wanted to see if that was correct or pretty close. Thanks.

I grabbed one off the floor and put it on the table - felt like about 97.
