Digital Dash/Inop Radio

Anyone have any tips besides checking fuses on common problems with Inop dash and or radio? Probably unrelated unless there's another fuse somewhere else. I gues the power supply on the digital dash is common to go out due to age, and will mostly have to get sent out? Tried calling Caspers but there closed already. Anyone have a ballpark estimate on what a repair from them typically costs. Thx

I just pulled out my digital cluster last night because my colt light stopped working and what a pain in the balls it was disconnecting that black connector. Actually found one of the wires broke loose from connector have to try solder it back in.

Amazing info!! Thank you unfortunately I have the heat damage to the resistors. I'm going to attempt to re solder the joint and keep my fingers crossed.

Unfortunately no such luck on the solder repair. Looking more like the power supply. I should probably leave this up to the pros at Casper, but does anyone know of a source for the power supply supplies?

I think your only chance if you want to DIY is to try and find a donor digital dash and get the power supply.
By the time you chance it, you are better off having Caspers repair yours.
They are equipped to handle this very thing. They did my digital dash and although it seemed pricey at the time, it now works flawless and reads beyond 85 mph. Very well worth it.
