I was always shocked that when Joe was running the car it never made a 7 second pass. With the tires he ran on the thing and the aerodynamics of the TTA it would seem to be a slam dunk. There must have been set up or tune up challenges.

i had tested the car last night @ atco raceway.on a less than optimum track and ran an 8.60@160 footing it.hopefully it will stay dry for saturday.

John, I'm not exactly sure but I would guess it is somewhere around 3000-3100lbs... I'm pretty sure David ran this car in NMCA Limited Street a couple years ago where I believe the best it ran was an 8.50 @162mph... Don't think he has ever really turned the wick up all the way on the tune....

That is correct, that wasn't at 35lbs either. I think his plan was to try to keep it together for a while. If that's possible.... The car had easy 7 sec. potential, don't think it was pushed very hard.
