D/R Tire size

The tire shp installed my 275 60 15 on the 15 by 8 with 4.0 BS GN rims and said the tire was rubbing the inner fender lip and they took them off. I'm pissed because I know hat they should fit fine. Any suggestions? Could high air pressure cause this?

275/60 always rub the inside of the wheel well when used on stock rims

275/60's are always a crap shoot for fitting without rubbing. Variations in the body, body centering on the frame and rear centering come into play. Your better off with 255/60 as the above majority concensous is. I don't know of anyone who has had problems with the 255's. Lot of issues regarding 275/60's. Been there, done that.
