Thank you Scott! We're so happy we made the full trip! We werent being very consistent because of some borrowed drag radials. We had hopes of running right under 11.49 all week but the wheel spin kept us from doing that. When we got back to topeka, i had slicks & was ready to bracket race, but the rain kept us from running into the night. By 7, the track was to wet & Hot Rod called the event & they based the awards off the 4 day event.
The car ran great though! Met a lot of buick owners, each stop & a long the route, met turbo buick owners.
I cant help to mention there was a 63 Chevy Nova with a turbo 6 also. He was the quickest six cylinder. They go off of your average through the week for all awards. You'll see a article over the Nova in the next few months in Hot Rod magazine.
