Compare these 2 turbos

I have 2 turbos sitting here and would like some opinions on what differences I could expect between one or the other.

Reason I am asking is no one has really run the GT35 on a 3.8 and I am not sure what to expect. Not that I expect anyone to know for certain, but the biggest difference I can see being a newb is the turbine wheels.

BTW this is a FWD 3800 setup if anyone is curious. ;-)

(NOTE: these are measurements I took so they will be close not sure how correct they are)

I can tell you, the GT3582R would spool faster than the 6776, but it will make less power on a 3800 series application.

If you are wanting the quickest spool up and want to make 550 whp, the GT3582R would be the right choice.

If you want slower spool "aka traction control" and want to make 650 whp, the 6776 turbo will work.

On an application like this, where boost is limited to 35psi before reliability issues set in, the GT3582R would be capable of supporting 650 fwhp and the 6776 would be capable of supporting 750 fwhp.

If 550 whp is your goal, GT3582R for sure.
Hope this helps.

Thanks! Sounds like I am going to keep the right turbo. If I need more then I'll just have to upgrade.
