Code 24 ???

My car just gave me a code 24 while sitting in the garage,,,I'd like to check the VSS if I knew what it looked like and where to find it,,,,anyone know where to find it????

The VSS buffer sits between the steering column and center console under the dash (rectangular box) and the wires go to the back of speedometer head and connects to a permanent magnet. Is your speedometer working? What about the park neutral switch?

The speedometer is working fine, How do I know if the Park/neutral switch is working ??? the car started in park okay
