Here’s technical service response on the KSB XTC clear coat on engine parts.
Keep in mind that KSB have another product “diamond finish” good to 300deg F
Their XTC (extreme temperature control) is designed for 500deg to 1500deg F service temperatures

OK. Go ahead and do that. XTC Clear does not yellow until it gets above 1500F and there is no way any of those parts should reach that. I would be surprised if they get above 300F.
