when backing out of my garage and i cut wheel to left i hear a loud clicking noise. upper control arm bushings were changed 1month ago and i hear noise on left side. possible something needs grease?

ulose2av6,

If the clanking noise can be heard just by turning the steering wheel while the car is not moving, might be very worn tie rod ends.

the clanging noise occurs only one way when i back out of my drive way while i am cutting the wheel. something has to be shot. cause even the way the left front tire looks it seems like something is wrong.

Be careful. Loud clanking noises are not normal. Recommend that you look under your car while someone turns your steering wheel. If you don't see anything, take it to reputable shop for a thorough check and lineup. That clanking could easily turn into a break while your driving down the road.

OPEN the hood and look at your upper control arm bushings near the downpipe-

they rot over the years from the heat of the downpipe and you will see it cause the bushing will be half gone-

take a look and let us know
