Chip "HELP"

This might sound dumb, but for a stock setup car such as mine would I need a chip burned for the strip/street or is the factory good enough. I have recently made a homemade adjustable wastegate. The reason I say this is because I'm not sure if a chip only bumps up your boost or does it do more than that. I also just got my scanmaster from "Ramchargers" today and was thinking what the benefits of getting a chip burned for my car would be? Could anyone please tell me what chip my car would benefit from the most on stock setup. Only mod so far is walboro 340 and scanmaster. One other thing octane out here in El Paso, Tx only goes as high as 91. Any help greatly appreciated.

Extender Chip

My engine is stock and I run the Extender Chip.

It idles better and does not hesitate at traffic lights like my stock chip.

It also has the anti-theft and valet mode.

Dan, sorry to bother you, but I'm rather new to these cars and need a lot of help. Where can I buy the chip,cost and how much more boost/performance do you get out of this chip. I'm embarrased asking these questions.

I think that Mike at www.fullthrottlespeed.com has these chips.

If not might ask him who does them. There is also the posibility that Bruce on this board makes them.

I believe I got my chip from Mike before he went RamChargers. He is a nice guy and will help you.

Be sure to tell him the injectors you are using.
