Does anyone make a chip to cure maf dropout? I'm experiencing it, and was told to go with an extender chip, translator and different maf, but I'd rather buy a chip if I can get one that addresses the problem. I don't really want to have to buy 500.00 worth of stuff to fix this right now, but I need it fixed so my car will stop hiccuping. :D

By the way, I'm running Red's chips right now.

Both the MaxEffort and the Extender ignore maf drop out. I am not familar with others...burn a phone call to the burner and ask.

hi,
eric marshall's chips have the maf lockup also.among alot of other neat stuff he has come up with.check out his website at turbotweak.com .
he is also known as ericstage1 on this board.

nick,

The translator has a built in function to prevent dropout. You can then use your current chips.

Well, as of a couple of weeks ago, I ordered an extender chip and Trans + so my problem should be solved. Good to know there's other options out there though.:)
