Cheap TTA nose emblem on ebay NOW -

Shhhh I was gonna snipe that one! :biggrin: I was just looking there is another one on ebay and I just noticed the 20th Anniversary font is a different color.. 
Oz I think you need to have a sale on your set. I'm itchin to buy that set you have! pretty please with sugar on top!

Oz is yours like that one or does it have the black font for the "20th Anniversary" like the Car motorspots one? Still waiting for that end of the year special on your complete set!

...Philly.... I don't anybody elses....... The repro's we did are as costmetically perfect as possible.... and have the correct Gold "20th Anniversary Trans Am" etc with gold edges etc with the pin etc and the tape etc etc...
Reason I posted that is you rarely see two NOS of any condition come up in a week.... just saw this one going and figured you guys need them more then me thats for sure.... and considering the price of that last one ($83 or so).. means this one should probably go for less if its "shop soiled" / damaged etc as noted..... And.. to answer that question about the black
For all the costs involved in reproducing these you know its questionable as to the merits of all the headaches verses more mainstream parts ...but its ok, I did them for MY use to start with & money was no object (hence the "special" your refering to ... $279 for an 11 peice kit with ECI delivery.. that's about as good as its ever going to get).
Philly.. when are you going so sell off some of your stash..?? BTW.. Consoles are now gone too.. we have a few NOS ones downunder stored away, as are multiples of the console plates and other cosmetics..... figure they can for part of a retirement nest egg.. maybe... but no more commercially reproducing highly specialised specific TTA stuff.. just not the market there to just support its own costing.. even wholesale etc.. not when you do it legally. We do have some other bits underway for 85-90 Fbd TA's but this is not the place to talk about it.

That's all I was worried about was that yours had that gold where it says 20th Anniversary. Never knew the other guys was incorrect with the black print there! After the first I want to order a set from you just to have. I talked to the guy with that nose badge on ebay. Says he's got "several" of them. I guess I'll have to keep shillin them up to keep these parts hot! Oz I can't sell my goodies off yet! I'll have George and Jan all over me! I do however have 2 nos in the box consoles for our cars. I've been stock piling parts that I've been finding over the last year or so. I think I'll go back to smoking crack! It was a cheaper and more easy to maintain habbit! :biggrin:

Philly... George & Jan have enough stuff... Jan has more TTA parts going to England then there is refugees from Europe...!!!:wink:
Let me ramble openly here for a moment.....Those 85-92 Fbd TA consoles..I looked hard at them in respect to reproduction late last year as I knew the stock figures were dwindling..... but there's are just too MANY parts to them...
..also looked hard & worked the tooling costs of doing a console LID is jacked up by the need for 3 or 4 templetes, all high quality/cost injected molds, plus foam filled injection also to give it the cushioning as per OEM.. Big project for us anyway.. (for the same outlay we can produce 3-5 other parts) ... but COULD have had the cost down to around US$26 per unit for 2000 units... but thats ALSO alot of stock to carry waiting for them to pay break even.
But .. something happened late this year & I can't talk about it ..... but we have a few more good things happening.. all born and maintained out of enthusiasm & not being corporately money hungary if you can relate to that... etc.
BTW... We just finished the 79-81 Firebird TA front park lamps.. and they are simply bloody BUEATIFULL.. all #'s and impressions.. all GM approved.. 85-90 TA era Tail Lamp lenses would be good...??? We also just retooled the 89 TTA bird.. and thats now .. well.. urr. perfect..!

Jim, you sure the carmotorsports nose emblems have "20th ...." in black font? I got the sail emblems and the key rings and they are all correct gold lettering .... got the bumper sitting in my addict with the emblem so can look at it right now ....
