Charcoal Canister Wire Extension

Just searched Casper Electronics for a Charcoal Canister wire lead extension and found no item offered. I’m relocating my Charcoal Canister and was wondering if anybody had the same situation where the wire lead is just too short. If so, what did you use to extended the lead? Did I miss it on Casper’s web page or did you just clip the wires and solder an extention wire in.

Clip the wires...solder on extension wires...use shrink tubing on soldered connections...put in wiring loom...can't even tell anything was done...

charcoal canister

why extend it? u have the perfect place to mount it on the inner fender next to the frame. already a bolt there. make your own mount & use two 4 in clamps. i never could understand all the hullaballue on relocating canister.
