cause of smell?

hey i was just curious is there was any other reasons for smelling coolant in my car other then a leaking heater core...there is no coolant leaking into my car that i can find.

Does your windshield fog over when you put the defroster on? Of course, in AZ you don't need it but if the core is leaking it will leave a nasty film on the windshield.

It could be the heater core. It's just not leaking enough to see it coming out on the floor. Just enough to get the core wet.

i havent had the defroster on ever with this car lol bein in arizona and having a garage during the winter i never need it...i believe i have a mechanical temp gauge...i hope my heater core isnt leaking i cant afford to fix that right now
