Catalytic converter question

I have ATR headers, TH 3" SS downpipe with a cut out (came with the down pipe) and after moving to San Diego, CA, I need to put a cat on my car in order to get it smogged....(plus I need to buy a stock chip). For all you CA GN owners, where did you buy your converter for a 3" inlet, 3" outlet exhaust system that is CARB approved??

I'm in the same boat here in Texas. I don't have to take the sniffer (25 year old car) but I do have to pass a visual inspection.
I found some 3" OBDII compliant cats on eBay for around $40. They are short...about 11" long. I might try one out.

THat sounds like you Cali guys should get together on a cat loaner program. Someone step up un Cali, buy a good stock replacement CAT, then ship it around like the fender roller that's bouncing around.

Good idea!!!!!!! I think the stock cat is about 28" long.........Dang, The Kirban's really think a lot of their parts....pretty expensieve.......but I have bought from them before....
