"Smart" unit will warn you only when etonation is moderate to severe—otherwise, it's silent. Designed to wire directly to the signal wires at your ECM. Audibly warns the driver with a high-pitched PIEZO alarm. Moderate detonation "chirps", severe detonation produces a long tone, directing the driver to lift off the throttle. Tone is 85dB, and can be heard above the sound of the exhaust. Requires the factory ESC module for operation.
