What do you guys do to keep rocks from chipping the front of the gn when transporting it on a open car trailer? Thanks

When i trailered my GN from Miami to Virginia on my open trailer i was also worried about road debris chipping my paint. My solution: i went to the packing supply section at U-Haul and bought one of those big seran-wrap looking rollers that you would use to wrap large shipments. I wrapped the whole damn car A LOT. It made the trip without a scratch, the only thing is that the wrap left marks in the paint where it was rubbing due to the wind and the whole car looked like it had ghost zebra stripes. All i had to do was wax the car and it was good as new. I wouldnt hesitate to do it again.

Use the blue painting tape. It will protect the paint and won't scuff or leave anything behind.

This is what we have on our open trailer. The frame work made out of angle iron. Holes are then drilled and then white powder coated aluminum sheets were pop riveted to the frame.

I'll let you guess what state we live in.

I made the art work from old bumper stickers.
