Car is surging?

Well I am not sure why but my car surges when boosting. It first started doing it last fall and doesn't do it all the time. Something I just realized is when it first started doing it I was driving the car trying to figure it out and the car wouldn't shift, after several times of surging, unless I let off the accelerator then it would shift. I lost reverse and burned the transmission fast. I thought that the problem was transmission so I took out my PTC non-lock up converter and tranny and put my stock tranny back in with Art Carr lock up. Car didn't surge and thought the problem was fixed. Just starting surging again and my car 's tranny is messing up again? Car doesn't do it all the time. I replaced the coil pack when it first started doing it. Plugs?ignition module? Maf translator? I am at a lost. Your thoughts?
