My 87 GN was broken into. The CD head deck and sub with amp were stolen. The passenger door lock was messed with to gain access. There is about a 1 cm hole just beneath the lock. The truck was also opened in a similar manner, and won't close completely. The center pod where the stereo was has bent mounting brackets, and the surrounding thin black plastic bezel is busted. Damn...
So I need advice on repairs/insurance/new alarm/etc
What type of repair is best to restore the car back to new (it has a $3000 repaint with basecoat/clearcoat and wetsanding)
What questions should I ask of the body shop
How do I make sure the insurance cmpany doesn't try to short change me
What alarms are you guys using? I figure I should get one.
