Camshaft sensor/cover the same?

Does anyone know if the camshaft sensor and cover are the same on a 85 GN hot air car and a 87 GN intercooled car?

as long as the block is a 20 bolt hot air (later), and not a 14 bolt the cover and sensor will be the same.

I don't think that's right Squid. There are no dimensional differences in the covers and the front of the blocks are identical so unless there's an internal difference in the sensors then it should be the same. The only differences in the blocks are deck height, pan bolt count, and oiling revisions that I know of.

Sorry Charlie, typing later at night I wasn't very clear. I just meant as long as his block is a 20 bolt, the front cover will be the same as the 87. And I should have put my sentences (thoughts) in separate sentences, as the cam sensor is the same for both hot air and IC'ed. Thanks for clearing up my mud.
