Anyone done this or heard of it being done???? how much does a C4 weigh? Any pros or cons to doing this swap?

Rogue Vette is the one yall are talking about. yeah his car is SICK
A C4, say like a 86, isnt really as light weight as you think. It is aerodynamic however so thats a plus. The stock rear ends in the automatic cars are Dana 36's which are pretty weak. You'd have to get a Dana 44 from a 4+3 manual car for it to hold up. Put some solid U-joints in all of the half shafts. Most of them come with posi 3.08's. to use a 200R4 in the Vette, you'd have to make your own cross member. and you'd have to make your own motor mounts. They do sell intercoolers for C4's, several companies still do. Get Caspers to make you a harness.
